Standards and APIs

Interoperability
The standards, and what each one does.
These are implemented, not planned. Each line below is a format or interface your team can use to move records into Archively, out of it, and into the wider catalog world.
Imports
Bring records in from a spreadsheet, an EAD finding aid, MARC or MODS, or by harvesting another OAI-PMH source.
CSV · EAD · MARC/MODS · OAI-PMH HARVEST
Exports
Export in the formats archives exchange and preserve. Your records leave in standard form, at any stage.
DUBLIN CORE · EAD 2002/EAD3 · MODS · METS + PREMIS · BAGIT · EAC-CPF
OAI-PMH
Archively serves a full OAI-PMH endpoint and can harvest others, so aggregators find your records and you can pull records in.
OAI-PMH SERVE · OAI-PMH HARVEST
IIIF
Publish images through the IIIF Image and Presentation APIs for deep-zoom viewing in any IIIF viewer.
IIIF IMAGE API · IIIF PRESENTATION API
REST API
Read the catalog through a REST API documented with OpenAPI.
REST · OPENAPI
Setup
How API access and migration are set up.
Send a standards export from your current system and watch it import.
A working setup using your records, not a sales presentation.
